(This recipe was first posted in conjunction with Meijer Ad Week 3/11/12 - 3/17/12)
Three ingredients are all you'll need to create these mouth-watering appetizers!
Ingredients:
1 - 16 oz package mini smoked sausage links
1 lb bacon
2/3 cup brown sugar
Directions:
1 lb bacon
2/3 cup brown sugar
Directions:
Line a 9x13 (or 10x15 if you have it) pan with foil.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Cut each bacon strip in half width-wise (the short way).  Wrap one bacon half around each sausage.  Secure each bacon-wrapped sausage with a toothpick if desired, and place in the pan.  Sprinkle with brown sugar.  Bake 30-40 minutes or until bacon is crisped.
Options and Tips
- Instead of slicing each piece of bacon individually, stack 4-6 pieces and slice the whole pile in half. Repeat until all bacon is sliced.

This recipe, in its original form, can be found on page 1 of Hull PRCS' "Bountiful Blessings" cookbook.  It was first recommended to me by Stephanie DeBoer, who suggested reducing the amount of brown sugar in the recipe (as I did above).
