This "shortcut gourmet" recipe is my go-to meal on busy days! It comes together quickly, and I always have the ingredients in the house. My mom came up with it years ago, and now my family enjoys it as well. The result looks like you spent hours in the kitchen instead of only 20 minutes, and the combination of flavors is delicious.
Ingredients:
4 breaded chicken patties (any brand)
1 cup +/- shredded mozzarella cheese
1 package of Knorr Pasta Sides Alfredo noodles
1/2 of a 24oz jar of spaghetti sauce (marinara, not alfredo)
Directions:
Bake chicken patties according to package directions. Halfway through baking time, flip them over and top each patty with approximately 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella. Meanwhile, prepare the Alfredo noodles according to instructions on the package, boiling with water and milk as directed. Warm up the spaghetti sauce in the microwave. Serve the chicken patties over the noodles, and top everything with as much spaghetti sauce as desired. Serve with garlic bread and/or a vegetable.

Options and Tips
- Adjust the quantities for your family as needed. I usually make two packages of noodles and six patties, because my kids love the noodles.
- Watch the noodles carefully while cooking them...they tend to boil over easily.
- If you have a little more time, and you'd like to make this with less breaded, processed food, you can make homemade Parmesan Chicken Breasts instead of topping store-bought patties with cheese.
I got this recipe from my mom :)
